Rachel Hoagland

Senior Vice President, Consumer Products

As Senior Vice President of Consumer Products at MLS, Rachel Hoagland leads the team overseeing the on and off-field licensing, gaming, e-commerce, and retail marketing efforts of MLS and the league’s property business. She also creates and executes strategies designed to exponentially grow the league’s Consumer Product revenue with a keen focus on Adidas products. Hoagland manages a team whose focus is on keeping clubs at the forefront of cultural and fanwear trends while maximizing the league’s key retail and licensing partnerships.

Before joining MLS, Rachel was the Vice President of Consumer Products, Gaming, Esports, & Partnerships at the National Football League (NFL). In 2021, Hoagland was recognized by SportsBusiness Journal as one of the industry’s “Game Changers.” Prior to the NFL, Hoagland spent 14 years in a series of senior leadership positions at Hasbro, activating the brand’s presence in the gaming space.

Hoagland has been featured in several notable industry publications for her work, including ESPN, Bloomberg, Reuters, Adweek, Front Office Sport, and Games Industry. She formerly served as the President and Member of the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association’s Boston Chapter. Hoagland is currently on the Board of Advisors at Gamestar+ and a Member of Chief – a private network built to drive more women into positions of power. She holds a Master of Business Administration from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
