Weekly update: Super Clasico returns

Chivas USA fans hope to celebrate a victory over the Galaxy this time.

Chivas USA will host the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday, May 28, at 7:00 PM (Pacific Time) at The Home Depot Center and will look to avenge their previous loss versus the Galaxy. This will be the first time in the Galaxy's history that they play a game at The Home Depot Center as a visitor and will be the second time this season that Chivas USA will face off against the Galaxy in the nascent 'Honda Súper Clásico'. The first time the two teams met was at The Home Depot Center on Saturday April 23, when Galaxy managed a 3-1 victory over Chivas USA.

CALL YOUR FAVORITE PLAYERS: During this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Chivas USA will host a telethon from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the participation of Chivas USA players. Chivas USA encourages fans to call 1-877-CHIVAS-1 to purchase tickets in advance for the 'Honda Súper Clásico' on Saturday, May 28. On Tuesday, May 24, Ezra Hendrickson and Ryan Suárez will be answering calls; on Wednesday, May 25, Orlando Pérez and Francisco Gómez; and on Thursday, May 26, Armando Begines and Isaac Romo.

WEAR RED AND WHITE: Every fan that wears red and white colors the day of the game will receive a 10-dollar discount on each ticket that is purchased in any section of the stadium. Also, every fan that attends the 'Honda Súper Clásico' between Chivas USA and Galaxy and saves their ticket stub will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for 5 dollars, for the game versus the Kansas City Wizards on Wednesday, June 1, at The Home Depot Center.

GUADALAJARA VS. PACHUCA ON THE BIG SCREEN: Chivas USA invites all Chivas fans to attend a viewing party at The Home Depot Center for the round-of-sixteen game between Guadalajara and Pachuca, for the 'Copa Libertadores.' The game will start at 7:30 PM (Pacific Time) but the doors will open at 5:30 PM. This event is free of cost and parking will also be free. There will be Chivas USA players present as well as ChivaGirls.

RESERVES WILL HAVE THEIR 'SÚPER CLÁSICO': There will also be a reserve game between Chivas USA and Galaxy on Sunday, May 29, at 1:00 PM (Pacific Time) at The Home Depot Center. That last time the two reserve teams met was at The Home Depot Center's Track Field when Galaxy beat Chivas USA 1-0.

'DEPORTES Y MÁS': This Tuesday, May 24, on-air personalities Troy Santiago, Valeria Chiu and Ernesto Rubí of Radiovisa 830 AM will be broadcasting their radio show 'Deportes y Más' live from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Home Depot Center.
