Seven MLS players waived by their clubs

NEW YORK – Seven players were waived by MLS clubs on
Wednesday but none were picked up in the Waiver Draft.
The same players had been left unprotected but were also not selected
by the Vancouver Whitecaps or the Portland Timbers in the 2010 Expansion Draft
held earlier on Wednesday:
Colorado Rapids (1): Ross Schunk
Real Salt Lake (1): Alex Nimo
Toronto FC (5): Gabe Gala, Raivis Hscanovics, Miguel Angel Martinez
“Mista,” Martin Saric, Maxim Usanov
It should be noted that none of the seven meet the age and
service requirements to participate in the Re-Entry Draft. They are now available to sign a new contract with any MLS club on a first-come, first-serve basis.
