San Jose Earthquakes announce partnership with Club Arca
SAN JOSE - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today a new partnership with Club Arca for the 2005 season after a successful partnership in 2004. The Quakes and Club Arca will work together on a number of initiatives targeted at the Hispanic community in the Bay Area.
"We are very excited about our partnership with Club Arca," said Earthquakes President & General Manager Alexi Lalas. "They are dedicated to helping the Hispanic community and are extremely innovative in their marketing. They help us do three very important things; increase awareness of the Earthquakes amongst Hispanics, generate fan loyalty and sell tickets."
The Earthquakes and Club Arca will conduct 26 soccer clinics throughout the Bay Area in 2005 for Club Arca members and their children. Earthquakes players will help lead these clinics at to-be-determined locations. The Earthquakes and Club Arca will also work together on a number of cross-promotional opportunities in the community.
"Club Arca is a consistent and valuable fixture in the Hispanic community" says Paul Walborsky Navarro, Chief Executive Officer of Club Arca. "This has earned us a deep level of trust and loyalty from our members. We are proud of this and will continually strive to improve the well-being of our members.
Club Arca, a membership club for U.S. Hispanics, is dedicated to serving the community by promoting sport, education and Hispanic-owned businesses. For a yearly fee, members receive a package of benefits that includes soccer clinics for children, discounts for vision and dental care as well as for prescription drugs, financial and legal education, and discounts and promotions from a merchant network that includes supermarkets, restaurants, sporting goods stores, cinemas and much more.
In order to deliver a unique soccer experience to its members, Club Arca has negotiated exclusive relationships with several Major League Soccer teams.
