Report: Klinsmann meets with US Soccer's Gulati
The ongoing saga of Bob Bradley's contract situation as head coach of the US soccer team took another twist this week when, according to a report on ESPN.com, Jürgen Klinsmann had a meeting with US Soccer.
Klinsmann, who was reportedly the top choice for the US job in 2006 before negotiations broke down, has been out of coaching since leaving Bayern Munich in 2009. He worked for ESPN as an analyst during this year's World Cup.
According to the ESPN.com report, Klinsmann is interested in the US job.
US Soccer met with Bradley on Thursday of this week in what was described as discussions about the coach's future. Bradley's contract runs out at the end of the year.
