Real Salt Lake statement regarding Bramble vandalism
SALT LAKE CITY - Dean Howes, the Chief Executive Officer of Real Salt Lake, released the following statement regarding the vandalism of Senator Curtis Bramble's property over the weekend:
"Real Salt Lake is saddened and disappointed by the vandalism of Senator Curtis Bramble's property in the name of soccer. Our deep sympathies go to the Bramble family. No one should ever be subject to the sort of uncivil and frightening treatment the Bramble's faced this weekend.
"To fans of soccer, the message is simple. Enthusiastic support is one thing, but this sort of behavior is way over the line and unacceptable. We reach out to everyone who loves soccer and ask that opinions be expressed in a polite and civil way. We will, undoubtedly, have differences of opinion along the way. How we work through our differences is what really matters."
