Quakes keep active in community
On May 25, the San Jose Earthquakes made a special visit to the second grade of Lincoln Elementary School, as midfielder Brian Mullan and mascot "Q" spoke at an assembly stressing the importance of street safety. Mullan and "Q" entertained the students with games that helped illustrate the importance of being careful around the area's busy streets, especially in instances when the kids' ball goes into the road. Mullan and "Q" finished the day by signing autographs for all the students.
Todd Dunivant extended the reach of the Earthquakes to the south of the city, as he made an appearance at the York School Fields in Monterey, signing autographs and providing soccer skills to youth players from the Catalyst Soccer League.
