Playoff meeting awaits D.C., Metros
this is our game, this is the way we've played all season long."
Metros coach Bob Bradley was evenhanded in his evaluation of the match, and predicted a similarly entertaining clash in the playoffs.
"I thought it was a good, hard-fought game," he said. "We let them beat us to a lot of plays in the first half, where they were able to take advantage of some counters and get at us. I thought we were able, towards the end of the first half, to turn that around a little bit, and that led into a good start to the second half for us.
"So I think it's going to go back and forth like that. I think both teams try to close down quickly in the midfield, and certainly there's an attempt to pass quickly and play one and two touches in that situation. So there's things there for a great series: both teams compete very hard, and the battle lines have been drawn."
