Notable players plucked from Supplemental Drafts

On Tuesday, MLS held its first Supplemental Draft since abandoning it for the past two seasons. The mechanism is an opportunity for teams to add to their roster by picking through players who were overlooked in last week's three-round SuperDraft.

This year's draft unearthed undoubtable quality, but history tells us there's still MLS-ready talent on the board. How do we know? Let's take a look at some of the more notable MLS talent to have emerged from the Supplemental Draft in the past.

(Note: MLS either skipped the Supplemental Draft or combined it with the SuperDraft in 2000-02, '04 and '09-10 for various reasons relating mostly to changes in roster sizes.)
