Keller snags another NAPA Save of the Week award
Seattle's Kasey Keller helped protect the Sounders' 2-1 win over the Rapids on Sunday, and won the NAPA Save of the Week.
Seattle's Kasey Keller has picked up his third straight NAPA Save of the Week award, this time for a point-blank save on Chicago Fire All-Star midfielder Marco Pappa during Seattle's 1-0 win last weekend at Toyota Park.
Keller - who also won the Save of the Week honor in Week 17 - earned roughly 52 percent of the vote, comfortably topping New York's Bouna Coundoul, who received nearly 39 percent of the vote with a save of a David Beckham free kick during the Red Bulls' 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy.
Toronto's Stefan Frei had two saves among this week's nominees, and Colorado's Matt Pickens rounded out the field.
