D.C. United to face Colorado Rapids in Hall of Fame Game
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Reigning and 4-Time MLS Cup Champion D.C. United will meet the Colorado Rapids in the 10th Hall of Fame Game in Oneonta, NY on Monday, August 29 at 1:00 p.m. The game was announced today on the ESPN broadcast of the U.S. vs. England match from Chicago, IL.
"We are especially pleased these two teams have agreed to play in Oneonta as part of Induction 2005," Hall of Fame President/CEO Will Lunn said. "Their presence honors the pioneers who helped build these MLS franchises from their inception, John Harkes at D.C. United and Marcelo Balboa at the Rapids. We know this is a game that will excite the fans and continue the tradition of top quality soccer at the Hall of Fame." Also being inducted is MetroStars pioneer Tab Ramos, the first player ever signed by Major League Soccer.

About Induction 2005
The National Soccer Hall of Fame will host Induction 2005 in Oneonta, NY on August 28 and 29. On Sunday, August 28 the 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament and the President's Reception/Dinner will be held. The Induction 2005 Ceremony will take place on Monday morning in the Museum. Induction is open to the public and is free of charge. The 2005 MLS Hall of Fame Game will kick off at 1:00 PM on August 29 on the Hall of Fame campus. ABOUT THE NATIONAL SOCCER HALL OF FAME

The National Soccer Hall of Fame is open every day of the year, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
