Chivas USA acquires the rights to Jesús Ochoa and Antonio Martínez

CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA today acquired the
rights to Mexican players Jesús Ochoa and Antonio Martínez, in a trade with
the Los Angeles Galaxy. In exchange, the Galaxy receive an allocation from
Chivas USA.

Jesús Ochoa played for the Galaxy during the 2002 and 2003 seasons,
appearing in 19 games, 11 as a starter, for a total of 923 minutes. The
native of Villamar, in the state of Michoacán, participated in Chivas USA's
training camp last month in Guadalajara, and has played in each of the
Red-and-White's preseason games in the United States.

Antonio Martínez, for his part, played for the then-Dallas Burn for four
seasons (2000-2003) before being transferred to the Galaxy, where he played
in 72 MLS games - 40 as a starter - for a total of 4092 minutes in which he
registered eight goals and 23 assists. During the 2003-04 season, the
Yahualica, Jalisco native played for Spanish Second Division side Salamanca,
before being transferred to Necaxa at the beginning of the Mexican Apertura
2004 season.

TRANSACTION: Chivas USA acquires the rights to Jesús Ochoa and Antonio
Martínez in exchange for the rights to an allocation.
