GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Club Tijuana’s American legion face a tough trip to Estadio Azteca on Saturday to face Club América (6 pm ET, Univision Deportes), having fallen 1-0 at home in the first week of Liga MX’s Apertura 2014.

Greg Garza looks set to start once again for Xolos, with Joe Corona, Paul Arriola and Amando Moreno also in the frame for minutes. For las Águilas, Ventura Alvarado has an outside chance of featuring.

Michael Orozco’s Puebla host regional rivals Veracruz, also on Saturday, in a match that is an early relegation battle (6 pm ET, Azteca America, ESPN Deportes).

Immediately following that game, Herculez Gomez's and Jose Torres’ Tigres UANL welcome reigning champions León to Estadio Universitario (8 pm ET, Univision Deportes). For crosstown rivals Monterrey, former US U-20 international Alonso Hernandez will be hoping for involvement when los Rayados take on Pachuca away (9 pm ET, Telemundo).

In the final game on Saturday, Gabriel Farfan’s Chiapas go up against Toluca at home, having impressed last weekend in their 1-1 draw against Chivas (10 pm ET, Univision Deportes). On Friday, Edgar Castillo’s Atlas travel to Morelia (8:30 pm ET, Azteca America), while Jonathan Bornstein’s Querétaro face a trip to Leones Negros on Sunday (6 pm ET, Univision Deportes).

In Mexico’s second division, Sonny Guadarrama is set to suit up for Atlante against Altamira on Friday (8 pm ET), while Marco Vidal’s Mineros de Zacatecas host Necaxa (Friday, 8:30 pm ET).
