MLS Fantasy Advice: Loads of options make choosing a captain for Round 19 incredibly difficult

TRANSFER DEADLINE: Wednesday, 7 pm ET

Round 19 of MLS Fantasy Manager is the perfect week to leapfrog the competition as eight teams will have the opportunity to capitalize on double-game weeks: Columbus, LA, New England, New York, Philadelphia, Sporting, Toronto and Vancouver.

While this is normally great news to fantasy owners, it comes with a very difficult task. Who gets the Captain's armband with so many legitimate options?

Jermain Defoe has been the most-captained player the last two rounds and it's paid off great for those who jumped on board. Scores of nine and 11 look pretty good when they're multiplied by two. However, in Round 19 it gets a little tricky.

Defoe is on yellow card accumulation warning which means that one foul, sign of dissent or something else could leave the Englishmen on the sideline for his second match of the week. This has led fantasy managers to look elsewhere when finalizing their rosters.

From what I've seen so far, the top captain choices this week are Defoe, Dom Dwyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips. Who will you go with for this massive DGW? Vote in the poll and discuss in the comments below.
