MLS Fantasy Advice: Get your team set for Round 16 – MLS' return is just around the corner
TRANSFER DEADLINE: June 24, 10 pm ET
The 2014 World Cup is going strong, but the return of MLS is just around the corner. Round 16 of MLS Fantasy Manager resumes with a full slate of games starting Wednesday, June 25 (10 pm ET), with Vancouver and Montreal kicking things off.
If you've checked in on the transfer market as of late, you'll notice a few things with regards to player values. Remember, you have unlimited transfers this round, but from Round 17 on things go back to normal (two transfers).
Why fantasy managers are picking up Moor is not a complete shock, but it does somewhat contradict the Morales pickup. Sure, Moor is tied for No.1 overall (with Bobby Boswell) among all defenders with 84 total points, but he doesn't have a double-game week until Round 21.
It's clear that managers are planning for the future by adding him to their squad now. They like his matchups over the next few weeks and are hoping he remains one of the league's top scoring defenders.
Player values are another thing you'll want to take a look at when making your moves for Round 16. Six players have risen a maximum value of $0.3m, nine players have increased $0.2m and another 17 players have gone up $0.1m.
With prices continually on the rise, there's no need to wait until the last minute to take advantage of the unlimited transfers. Login and set your lineup today!
