MLS Fantasy Advice: Best leagues, fans & most valuable teams at World Cup break
We've made it to the World Cup break, which just about marks the halfway point of the 2014 MLS Fantasy season. That said, it's a great time to take a look at some of the latest statistics with regards to fans, leagues and team values.
There's been quite a bit of change among the best fan leagues over the last few weeks. Houston and Sporting KC were surpassed by Portland, D.C. and Philadelphia, with the Seattle Sounders taking over the top spot from the Columbus Crew.
The top two leagues remain the same with the Starting Lineup and #BeatQuincy leagues tied at No.1, but there's a new leader in the race for the most valuable team – Carlo Garbagnati (Forza Milan!) now sits atop the leaderboard with a team value of nearly $135m, surpassing Nick Zar (SinisterDucks) for the top spot.
