This train just keeps rolling along.

Strong, strong consideration for moving them up to the No. 1 spot. Their attack has been simply breathtaking.

Gutsy, grind-it-out win. As stunning as Obafemi Martins' goal was, posting the shutout was probably the best sign for Seattle going forward.

Sporting looked very much like a team playing without their top four central defenders at Chicago. They'll drop more points over the next few weeks for that reason, but this team will earn them back come late June.

Can they crack open the Seattle defense the way the Revs did two weeks ago? The talent is there for Vancouver.

Like Sporting, this is a team hamstrung by injuries and call-ups. New York only kept their spot because the teams behind them in last week's rankings all cratered.

Flat performance, but showed enough discipline and fight to get a late goal. This coming week is a true litmus test.

The Dynamo always find a way, right? In this year's version of that same old story, it's second-round draft pick Mark Sherrod playing a crucial role.

Needed to get those points, and now need to take advantage of Sporting's depleted backline. This Friday should be the Jermain Defoe show.

Something something 2013 repeat.

The Crew scored multiple goals for the first time since March. They need a center forward.

Only one win in their last six, and haven't scored multiple goals since the first weekend of April.

It's too late in the season for Robbie Keane to look this rusty. Yes, he's got five goals – but he's whiffing on multiple chances to make game-changing plays each week.

  • Last Week:  Lost at Houston, 1-0

  • This Week: Wednesday vs. Dallas (10:30 pm, MLS LIVE)
Sunday vs. Philadelphia (8 pm, Univ. Dep.)

Try as they did, they weren't quite able to give away either of the last two results. The Fire are a fun attacking team, but have no idea what to do with a lead and tons of defensive questions.

They coughed up a lead, but a road point is a good point. Now the priority has to be on figuring out how to keep Cubo.

Gutsy defensive performance overshadowed by yet another punchless attacking show.

Forget the five goals conceded – sometimes it happens. We at the Power Rankings Politburo are instead heartened by an attack that scored five of their own across two games. One thing: more Zach Pfeffer, please.

Mapp, Felipe and Jack Mac seem like a solid attacking trio to build around. Now about that defense...
