Hat tricks, int'l call-ups kick double-game week logic out window for Round 11 | MLS Fantasy Advice
Reminder: Transfer deadline locks at 8:15 pm ET on Wednesday, so start preparing! You'll be able to substitute all remaining players up until their scheduled game time.
We expected Round 10 of MLS Fantasy Manager to be the biggest yet and we were right. The top score of 142 points and the average of 60 points were both season highs, trumping last week's total of 93 and 38 points.
Javier Morales was the overall top scorer with 26 points and six players bested last week's high of 14. Here's the recap for Round 10, along with some DGW advice for Round 11 and the top transfers both in and out.
- Games (12): 39 goals, 7 clean sheets
- Top Player: Javier Morales
- Highest Score: 142 points (TT)
- Average Score: 60 points
- Most-captained: Clint Dempsey
- Dream Team: Round 10
- Top Scorers - Complete list
In Round 10, only six players with double-game weeks made the Dream Team, which points to the positives of picking players based on matchups as opposed to loading up on opportunity.
Sporting KC and the Philadelphia Union are the only two teams with a DGW in Round 11 and, next week D.C. United, FC Dallas, Houston and LA will each have two games apiece, so pick wisely. You have unlimited transfers this round since several players will be leaving their club team for international duty.
Preliminary World Cup rosters for the US men's national team, Costa Rica and others have been released, so check your team to make sure you're not holding any of these players on your fantasy team. (FYI: They have all been marked at "not available.")
