ExtraTime Radio: Sporting KC's Dom Dwyer sheds light on Twitter tiff with RSL's Nick Rimando
Prevailing logic was Sporting KC's forwards couldn't score from the run of play. But nobody told Dom Dwyer that. After a weekend in which the Englishman found net twice against Montreal, the guys try to pry Dwyer's personal goals out of him to no avail. The striker also explains why his Twitter beef with Nick Rimando was no big deal and why left back Seth Sinovic may be the vainest player on the team. Over Aurelien Collin? Surprising to say the least.
With seven weeks in the books, the guys wonder whether Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins are the best strike tandem in MLS and what has to change for Seattle's Cascadia neighbors in Portland to get their first win. Also, why hasn't Landon Donovan scored 135 yet? Simon Borg isn't so sure he'll even be on the plane to Brazil.
Also in this episode, the guys ponder stadium news in New York City and Orlando and debate the merits of investing in stickers. Needless to say, the return isn't great.
