Sporting KC have been among the league's best defensive teams over the past several years. And now it looks like the attack is finally breaking out.

Center forward Dom Dwyer had a pair of goals in KC's 4-0 demolition of hapless Montreal over the weekend, and for the effort he earned the top spot in the Week 7 Castrol Index. Dwyer now has four goals on the year, and is among the league leaders in goals per 90 minutes as well. Listen to Dwyer talk about his hot start to the season on ExtraTime Radio HERE.

Dwyer's recent sparring partner on Twitter, Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando, claimed the No. 2 spot thanks to his heroics in a 1-0 win over Portland. Rimando just edged out Dwyer for the Player of the Week award, and now has 111 career shutouts – just one behind all-time leader Kevin Hartman.
