ExtraTime Radio: Mix Diskerud says Portland Timbers' Caleb Porter could hack it in Europe

All Mixed Up

Rosenborg and USMNT midfielder Mix Diskerud didn't want to be part of a "dry" interview. The guys obliged, asking the 23-year-old about his offseason road trips, a beatdown at the hands of the No. 1-ranked chessmaster in the world and unusual fan requests. Oh, and Diskerud also gets around to talking about his failed move to the Portland Timbers, life on the roster bubble ahead of Brazil and Bob Bradley at Stabaek.

The Oregonian's Geoffrey Arnold, meanwhile, chimes in on the mounting pressure in Portland. Could the calendar turn to May without seeing a Timbers win? It's possible, especially with the club missing forward Ryan Johnson up top. Stick around for the full MLS weekend preview as well.

Also in this episode, Simon Borg gives the lowdown on Atlanta expansion, the guys wonder how long the prefix "US international" stays accurate and Yankee Stadium's merits as a temporary venue for New York City FC come into question.
