Bernardo Anor wins Week 3's Player of the Week vote after scoring brace in Columbus Crew win

The Columbus Crew are 2-0 for the first time in their 18-year history, and Bernardo Añor is one of the main reasons for that.

The Venezuelan winger helped the Crew achieve that milestone this past weekend by scoring an impressive first-half brace that was enough to defeat the Philadelphia Union, 2-1.

Añor first nodded home a corner kick from Federico Higuaín before hitting a highlight-reel blast from distance two minutes into stoppage-time, goals which paved the way for him to be voted Week 3's MLS Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters. Añor won the award by a landslide, picking up 13 of the 17 votes. Mauro Díaz (three) of FC Dallas and Vancouver Whitecaps defender Andy O'Brien (one) were the other two players to receive selections.
