Report: Toronto FC close to signing CanMNT winger Issey Nakajima-Farran
One of the ongoing projects at Toronto FC has been the quest to build the team around Canadian national team players. It appears they may add yet another international, one with considerable experience, to their roster.
Luke Wileman reported on twitter Friday that TFC are close to signing winger Issey Nakajima-Farran, following a preseason trial with the club.

The Calgary-born Nakajima-Farran, 29, has played professionally on three continents prior to linking up with Toronto this year. After signing a pro deal with J-League team Albirex Niigata in 2003, he was sent to team affiliate Albirex Singapore, where he was named the S.League's Young Player of the Year in 2005.
He's also played in Denmark for Vejle, Nordsjaelland (where he was a teammate of Columbus Crew defender Michael Parkhurst), and Horsens; in Australia with the Brisbane Roar; and in Cyprus.
