AMSTERDAM – A pair of US internationals clocked in on Sunday, with Geoff Cameron among the least of Stoke City's problems in a hard luck 5-3 loss to visiting Liverpool.

The right back was consistently a driving force up his wing, passed accurately and got back to make several plays in his own end. Cameron's crossing did leave something to be desired, however, with his lone pinpoint centering feed ending with a header put wide by Peter Crouch.

Meanwhile, the Stoke center backs had no answer for Luis Suárez, who added two goals to his chart-topping sum in dooming the 12th-place Potters to their third loss in the last four league tilts.

Across the channel in France's Ligue 1, Alejandro Bedoya worked a lukewarm 70 minutes, departing before Nantes pulled off a last-gasp 1-0 victory over regional guests Lorient.

Instead of his usual box-raiding No. 10 role, the American was stationed wide right, where he went without touches for long stretches of the game. The Canaries snapped a two-game slide to climb back up to sixth place.
