New Real Salt Lake head coach Jeff Cassar has filled out his assistant positions, the club announced Wednesday. Andy Williams, Daryl Shore, Paul Dalglish and Craig Waibel will assist Cassar on the bench for the 2014 season.

“I’m very excited for Andy, Daryl, Paul and Craig to join me as assistants,” Cassar said in a statement. “Having such an experienced staff on board will help me in my first year as a head coach, and the unique characteristics that each of them bring to the table will help the team contend for another MLS Cup.

"Their backgrounds will also allow RSL to continue our unique position-specific coaching model, with Daryl primarily coaching the goalkeepers, Craig working with the defenders, Andy coaching the midfielders and Paul spending time with the forwards.”

Williams has the closest ties to RSL, as he played for the club 2005-2011 and was the team's head scout the last two years. According to a statement released by the club, the entire technical staff will divide scouting duties.

Shore was head coach of the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers from 2010-2013, and previously served as the goalkeeper coach of the Chicago Fire from 2000-2010, while Dalglish was most recently head coach of the USL PDL's Austin Aztex, where they won the league title and he was named 2013 USL PDL Coach of the Year. Dalglish also previously played for the Houston Dynamo.

Waibel played in MLS for four teams between 2000 and 2010 and was a teammate of Dalglish's on the Dynamo. He has recent experience in the college game, as he served as an assistant coach with the University of Washington in 2012 and the University of Michigan in 2011.
