Two new names have been added to the Canadian national team roster for its upcoming friendlies – one newcomer and one very familiar face.

Caleb Clarke, a 20-year-old Vancouver Whitecaps striker who is currently on loan with FC Augsburg II in Germany, and midfielder Terry Dunfield, formerly of the Whitecaps and Toronto FC, were added to Canada’s 22-man roster on Tuesday, the Canadian Soccer Association announced.

Dunfield (above) joins Dwayne De Rosario and Issey Nakajima-Farran as veterans in camp who are currently without a club. The 31-year-old Vancouver native was officially waived by TFC in June, but that hasn't stopped him from getting looks from Benito Floro, last appearing for Canada in a pair of friendlies against Mauritania in Spain back in September.

Clarke – like Montreal Impact defender Karl Ouimette – is earning his first call-up to the senior national team.

The pair will replace Samuel Piette and Iain Hume on the roster for Canada’s friendlies against the Czech Republic (Friday, 11 am ET) and Slovenia (Nov. 19, noon ET).

The CSA also confirmed on Tuesday that both games will air live on Sportsnet One.
