ExtraTime Radio: Portland Timbers' Darlington Nagbe on his best-ever goal, plus the Houston Dynamo's Dominic Kinnear
The Countdown to 2015
The scene is set for midweek MLS Cup Playoff action, and the guys dig into each of the semifinal series with the field close falling to four. Plus, Simon explains why he's considering cursing someone Maltese style at the office.
First up it's Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear, who gives an A-plus to the BBVA Compass Stadium staff for his in-game meal while he watched from the luxury boxes on Sunday. Kinnear also advocates for the away-goal rule to be applied, and explains how Houston changed the game in the second half against New York. How about a tactical hint ahead of the second leg? Forget about it.
Portland Timbers hero -- and expectant parent -- Darlington Nagbe is up next to discuss his all-time best goal and what kind of gameplan he expects from Caleb Porter against the Seattle Sounders at JELD-WEN Field. Also, if you're counting down the days at home, Nagbe says he'll be USMNT eligible come Sept. 2015.
The guys also give their thoughts on the gridiron lines on MLS fields this weekend, what Golden Boot winners say about their team and, with Nick Firchau still out on paternity leave, the best baby gifts for first-time parents.

|Nick Firchau is the host and producer of ExtraTime Radio and a senior editor at MLSsoccer.com. He previously covered the Chicago Fire for the Chicago Sun-Times. He often wonders why more professional athletes don't demand an "orange slices at halftime" clause in their contracts.||Simon Borg is a senior editor and on-air analyst for MLSsoccer.com, and the original creator of the "Kick Off" on MLSsoccer.com. He loves organic strawberry jam and once pushed a big kid into a puddle while playing soccer in Malta. And he would do it again right now.|
|Andrew Wiebe is a new media editor for MLSsoccer.com. He previously covered Sporting KC, once scored an unintentional goal from midfield and tries to bring an analytical mind to the beautiful game. Weekend center back, history junkie and Jayhawk.||
