ExtraTime Radio: Brad Evans says the Seattle Sounders are Cascadia underdogs, plus Sporting KC's Peter Vermes
The MLS Cup Playoffs are upon us and the guys are back to reflect on Wednesday's pressure-relieving win for the Seattle Sounders and look ahead to what promises to be a thrilling weekend. Plus, there's a new member of the ExtraTime Radio family.
First up it's Sounders captain Brad Evans, who explains why Seattle didn't feel any internal pressure against Colorado then labels his side the underdog with a Cascadia Clash against the Timbers on the horizon. Plus, find out what the US national team's incumbent right back thinks about offseason loans with a World Cup place at stake.
Sporting Kansas City head coach Peter Vermes is next, and despite being a New Jersey native and former New York player, he lays out why he was rooting for the Chicago Fire last Sunday. Vermes also dishes on Matt Besler's Halloween costume, and explains why his team is just fine without Kei Kamara. Can Sporting collect the Cup in their third go round? The guys like their chances.
The guys also run the rule over New York, LA and Real Salt Lake, discuss the Fire's new hire and the Crew's premature retirement and Simon rails against the USMNT courtship of Bayern Munich winger Julian Green.
