Bob Bradley is staying put with the Egyptian national team, at least for one more game.

The Egyptian Football Association confirmed Monday what was originally suspected last week, that the former US national team boss will stay on to coach the Pharaohs in the decisive World Cup playoff second leg vs. Ghana on Nov. 19 in Egypt.

Bradley’s job security came under fire after the team’s humbling 6-1 loss to Ghana in the first leg of the series on Oct. 15 in Kumasi, but the Egyptian FA reportedly met last week and decided Bradley will indeed try and lead the team in their quest to reach the World Cup for the first time since 1990. The BBC reported last week that cutting ties with Bradley would be a costly one for the Egyptian FA, costing roughly $366,000 if they chose to release him from his contract.

Bradley took over the team in September 2011 and led them to a perfect record through the first round of African qualifying before the loss last week to Ghana, looking to make their third consecutive appearance in the World Cup.
