If you want to attend the US national team's final home World Cup qualifier of the current cycle, have your phone or computer – and credit card – at the ready a week from Friday.

U.S. Soccer announced on Wednesday the details of ticket sales for the Yanks' Hexagonal match against Jamaica at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan., on Oct. 11, which open to the general public at 11 am ET on Aug. 30 via TicketMaster's toll-free number and ussoccer.com. A presale for cardholders of a credit card which sponsors U.S. Soccer will take place on ussoccer.com two days beforehand.

While the clash with the Reggae Boyz might not be quite as highly anticipated as next month's border battle with Mexico in Columbus, Ohio, several factors are likely to make the match in KC an extremely hot ticket nonetheless.

With its gorgeous amenities and intimate yet noisy atmosphere, Sporting Park has proved itself a spectacular home venue for the USMNT and another capacity crowd like the one that packed in to watch last year's decisive CONCACAF semifinal-round qualifier against Guatemala is expected.

A positive result against Jamaica could officially seal the USA's berth in Brazil 2014. Add in the fact that Sporting KC coach and former USMNT great Peter Vermes will be inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame along with Joe-Max Moore shortly before the match, and the recipe for a quick sellout is clear to see.

It has all the makings of a special evening, and those who want to experience it in person will need to move fast.

As coach Jurgen Klinsmann put it when this match was originally announced: “You need to make sure that [in] your last home game you have everything you need to get the three points. And this is the feeling we have when we go to Kansas City.”
