Reports: Panamanian 'keeper Jaime Penedo set to sign with LA Galaxy
He was one of the stars of the Gold Cup. Now it looks like he's about to get his chance to star in MLS.
Multiple outlets in Central America, as well as Spanish-language press in the States agree that Panamanian goalkeeper Jaime Penedo is set to put pen to paper with the LA Galaxy.

Y en el entretiempo, les cuento que este sábado Galaxy tendría más cerca a su nuevo arquero: Jaime Penedo. Me dicen que viaja mañana.

The 31-year-old, who helped guide La Marea Roja to the final in both 2013 and 2005 and is currently a free agent, has gone on record saying that "this is a great opportunity, it's a blessing, and I hope it gets announced soon," without actually naming the actual club he's heading to.
Italian veteran Carlo Cudicini has been the No. 1 in LA this year after signing in the offseason, but has struggled, ranking dead last among the league's starters in save percentage and total saves.
A Galaxy spokesperson said the team had no comment when contacted by MLSsoccer.com on Friday.
