AMSTERDAM – Bryan Gerzicich and Hapoel Tel Aviv are on to the third qualifying round of the Europa League after a 2-2 second-leg draw at Bulgarian side Beroe on Thursday.

The midfielder went the distance, drawing a yellow card in stoppage time, as the visitors completed a 6-3 aggregate win. The Red Demons will start the next round away to Romania's Pandurii Târgu Jiu next Thursday.

Elsewhere, Tony Taylor came off at halftime as Omonia dropped out of the competition with a 2-1 (3-2) loss to visiting Astra Giurgiu. The right winger failed to find the frame on three shot attempts, with the last two blocked in the area near the break.

Meanwhile, Rosenborg were ousted with ace midfielder Mikkel Diskerud away on Gold Cup duty after a 1-1 draw at St. Johnstone, who advance on a 3-2 aggregate.
