GALLERY: Shots of the Week in MLS, Week 16 | THE SIDELINE

This week's entrants into "MLS Shots of the Week":

His teammate Darlington Nagbe will get the glory for the game-winning golazo on Saturday against FC Dallas, but Donovan Ricketts outdueled Raúl Fernández in goal to keep the clean sheet, and the 1-0 victory.

Really, though, the slab is twice as wide as Darlington. Perhaps when you're a near lock to win MLS Goal of the Week, you deserve a big slab.

Things started out nicely for D.C. United on Saturday, up 1-0 against Toronto FC following a Dwayne De Rosario penalty kick.

And then Robert Earnshaw happened to make it 1-1 between United and Toronto.

And then a Daniel Woolard (bloodied) own goal happened. Toronto FC win, 2-1.

Columbus Crew fans had plenty to hoot and holler about on Saturday night, most notably their team getting back to winning ways against the Montreal Impact.

It also doesn't hurt to have a little bit of good furtune, like a wicked deflection off of a sliding defender to wrong-foot a goalkeeper. Crew beat the Impact, 2-0.

The little bird in front of the fieldside camera is kind of cute, is it not?

Jaime Castrillon was having none of that ball getting past his ferocious clearing header.

Carlyle Mitchell, rise up. Dimitry Imbongo, you gotta do just a little more than that.

Lee Nguyen went all "WWE" on Whitecaps midfielder Russell Teibert, but it wasn't enough to keep the 'Caps off the board four times.

You know it's really raining goals when defender Jordan Harvey gets in on the action. The Whitecaps netted four times on Saturday.

Kenny Miller's brace, and game-winning goal, saw him named Man of the Match and took his season tally to five goals.
