When you're David Beckham, and you're in Miami, sometimes people are just going to stop you and try to talk to you. Surely he's grown accustomed to this since he became one of the world's most recognizable faces back in the last decade.

Well, Beckham can expect an abnormally large group of organized admirers, Miamians and soccer fans alike to hound the recently retired midfielder for attention when he attends tonight's Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. A large group of Miami soccer fans will be hoping to speak with Beckham in an attempt to show him their passion for the game and sway the Englishman to bring a Major League Soccer franchise back to South Florida.

If you've not been following the MLS expansion scene of late, new reports surface every day now that Beckham will activate the clause from his MLS player contract that allows him to purchase an MLS expansion club after his playing career concluded. Many of those reports claim Beckham will ultimately choose South Florida to spring up a new MLS team.

There's even an event page on Facebook to rally Miami's soccer fans together and organize the pleading efforts. That poor, poor David Beckham; so many people wanting to talk to him and help him spend his fortune, reported to be valued at $275 million. Yeah, I'd hate to be that guy.
