American Exports: Michael Bradley at his best as Roma stomp Siena in Serie A

AMSTERDAM – Michael Bradley was at his traffic-directing best on Sunday, providing the midfield foundation for AS Roma's 4-0 rout of visiting Siena.

The US international drew widespread plaudits from the Italian press as the Giallorossi grabbed hold of Serie A's final Europa League slot with four games to play.

Turning focus to the Bundesliga, Jermaine Jones went 80 minutes in Schalke's 4-1 humbling of guests Hamburg.

The midfielder went close to scoring just before the break, only to have his corner kick header tipped over the bar. The victory moved Schalke three points clear in the race for Germany's last Champions League invite.

One league below, John Anthony Brooks and Alfredo Morales went the distance in Hertha Berlin's 3-2 fightback victory at St. Pauli.

The visitors lost an early lead before hitting twice in the final three minutes to flip the result back in their favor. With Brooks making a key shot block in stoppage time, Hertha maintained their four-point penthouse cushion.

Across the border in Belgium, the championship hexagonal swoon continued for Sacha Kljestan and Anderlecht, who fell 2-1 at Club Brugge.

The Mauves were unfortunate not to salvage a draw or better in the waning moments, one with one goal disallowed and Dieumerci Mbokani blowing a last-gasp penalty kick. Thanks to dropping consecutive league games for the first time since July of 2011, the holders remained a point off the top with four matches left.

To the north in Denmark's Superliga, Charlie Davies worked the last quarter hour as Randers FC dropped a 1-0 decision at AC Horsens. Now winless in four, the Horses surrendered nearly all hope of earning the league's second Champions League berth.

In nearby Norway, Mikkel Diskerud pitched in with a solid hour of play as Rosenborg sank to a galling 1-0 home loss against Sandnes Ulf. The Troll Kids slipped three points off the summit with their second straight Tippeligaen defeat.

Steve Clark notched seven saves, allowing Hønefoss to rally for a 1-1 share at Sarpsborg 08. Though their win drought stretched to four games, the visitors climbed out of the bottom three.

Molde FK winger Josh Gatt went all 90 minutes as the two-time defending champs remained winless at the bottom after a 2-1 home loss to Strømsgodset. Astonishingly, Ole Gunnar Solskjær's crew have rung up just a single point through six games.
