Tryouts continue this weekend at first-time host Colorado Rapids for Sueño MLS 2013 – Presented by Allstate

DENVER – Sueño MLS 2013 – Presented by Allstate will hold its first ever Denver-area tryouts this weekend, April 20-21, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, when the Colorado Rapids host more than 500 aspiring young soccer players for the nationally televised search.

While pre-registration for the Colorado event is full, players are encouraged to sign up in person for the “walk-up” list starting Saturday, April 20 at 8 am local time. The Rapids’ scouting efforts will be led by senior director of youth development Brian Crookham.

Friends and family of participating players, as well as the general public, are invited to watch the tryouts and enjoy the interactive fan zone presented by event partners. Colorado Rapids head coach Oscar Pareja and star players Jaime Castrillón, Martín Rivero and Hendry Thomas, as well as Univision Network’s República Deportiva personalities Felix Fernandez and Alba Galindo are scheduled to make special appearances.
