HIGHLIGHT: Sporting KC's Kei Kamara scores to lead EPL's Norwich City to victory
Sporting Kansas City's Kei Kamara, who went on loan to Premier League side Norwich City in January, has often proved a handful for MLS defenses to deal with. And now EPL defenses get to curse their luck.
With his club down a goal, the Sierra Leone international subbed on in the 58th minute on Saturday against Everton, and was an immediate momentum-changer. He came close on a flying-side-volley, challenged Tim Howard on a cross, and then finally his thumped in a header goal in the 84th minute to draw the home side level at 1-1. Norwich went on to snatch the victory, 2-1, in stoppage time thanks to a header from Grant Holt.
MLS fans aren't surprised that Kamara got the chance to show off his trademark heart-shaped hands celebration so soon into his EPL career. After all, he scored 11 goals last season in Kansas City, and has 45 in his MLS career.
How many goals do you think he can score in the Canaries' remaining 11 matches before his loan is up at the end of the EPL season? Let us know in the comments below.
