Montreal Impact coaching search down to two candidates
The Montreal Impact have narrowed down their head coaching search to two candidates.
Although he didn't disclose their names, Impact owner Joey Saputo revealed on Twitter earlier Wednesday that he has a tough decision on his hands between the two finalists:
And then there were two; enjoyed the process, now the tough part!

Montreal recently revealed that 28 prospects had interviewed for the vacancy. There have been several names linked to the post since Jesse Marsch and the club parted ways back on November 3 although Saputo himself has characterized them as off-target.
Some of the candidates that have emerged in the press in recent weeks include former Italian international Pierluigi Casiraghi, Napoli assistant coach Enzo Concina, ex-Swiss international Martin Adermatt and interim manager and former Impact player Mauro Biello.
The most intriguing question surrounding the impending managerial decision: Will the Impact go international, perhaps Italian, and name someone who perhaps already has a relationship with veteran players Alessandro Nesta, Matteo Ferrari and Marco Di Vaio? Or will the club perhaps stick to the team's roots and hire someone who is familiar with the Montreal scene and the Impact?
We know this much: The club declared that the next coach must speak both English and French.
