AMSTERDAM — It's another busy weekend for Americans playing in Europe, including a pair of big derby tilts and in Norway a title showdown.

All times listed in ET.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Clint Dempsey, Brad Friedel (Spurs) — Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 7:45 am on ESPN2)
Tottenham boss André Villas-Boas is hinting that former US goalkeeper Friedel will be back in for this crosstown battle. Friedel has held Chelsea to four straight draws. Dempsey has four career goals against them. Spurs will show up with a four-game win streak, but have only beaten Chelsea three times from the last 25 EPL meetings at White Hart Lane. It may help this time that Blues captain John Terry is suspended, while Frank Lampard faces a late fitness test.

GERMAN BUNDESLIGA

Jermaine Jones (S04) — Borussia Dortmund vs. Schalke (Saturday, 9:30 am)
The Miners again have fingers crossed that the US international will be past an ankle nag by kickoff of this derby match. They'll need all hands on deck for the trip to the two-time defending champs, so Jones should start if fit. Dortmund have won six in a row at home, where they're also unbeaten in 17 Bundesliga matches. However, Schalke have been their rudest guests in recent years, with six victories and five draws from the last 13 times over.

ITALIAN SERIE A

Michael Bradley (Roma) — Genoa vs. AS Roma (Sunday, 2:45 pm on beIN Sport)

Roma have not enjoyed visiting Genoa, arriving this time with four straight losses and six of seven there. Bradley, however, is still perfect at the Luigi Ferraris, helping secure one away victory as a US midfielder earlier this year and another with Chievo last season. Roma are expecting to return midfield partner Daniele De Rossi, while former Giallorossi striker Marco Borriello is doubtful for the hosts.

NORWEGIAN TIPPELIGAEN

Josh Gatt (MFK) — Strømsgodset vs. Molde FK (Sunday, 1 pm)
The champs can take a big step toward repeat glory with a victory at third place Strømsgodset, who stand three points back with five games to play. Gatt, who scored in a Man of the Match showing against SIF on opening day, should start on right wing. The home side have won nine of 10 at Marienlyst Stadion and haven't lost there since Ole Gunnar Solskjær's boys scored a 1-0 win last June, a span of 20 Tippeligaen games. Overall, Strømsgodset are winless against Molde since 1998, a 13-game drought.
