And then there were six. With Tuesday's results in the books, the participants of CONCACAF's final round of 2014 World Cup qualifying — a.k.a. "The Hexagonal" — are set.

Joining the United States in the Hex are Costa Rica, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama. The US got the job done with a 3-1 win over Guatemala, who were leapfrogged by Jamaica after the Reggae Boyz' 4-1 victory over Antigua and Barbuda in Kingston.

Canada's 8-1 disaster in San Pedro Sula saw Honduras go through, while Panama's 1-1 draw with Cuba saw La Marea Roja join Los Catrachos.

Mexico booked their spot in the Hex a month ago and wrapped up a perfect run in the third round of CONCACAF qualifying with a 2-0 win over El Salvador in Torreón. Costa Rica return to the Hex with a 7-0 romp of Guyana.

CONCACAF will set the schedule for the Hexagonal, which runs from February to October 2013. The top three finishers in the home-and-home final round qualify for the World Cup in Brazil; the fourth-place finisher enters a home-and-home playoff with the winner of the Oceania federation's tournament.
