This or That: Tim Ream or AJ Soares?

Welcome to the latest installment of MLSsoccer.com's "This or That?" It's as simple as it gets: You choose one of two things. Sometimes you might want a third option or a "both" option, but that's not the point. The point is to present either/or question and find out where people's opinions lie.

Tim Ream’s rookie season in MLS was one of the more impressive ever. As a young center back playing under the bright lights of Broadway, Ream stepped up to start and finish every one of the Red Bulls’ 32 matches.

Rookie New England Revolution center back A.J. Soares has announced his arrival to the league with similar authority, starting 25 of the Revs’ 27 games and playing all but 24 minutes during those contests. On Wednesday night, the highly touted sixth overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft opened his MLS account with a ninth-minute strike against the Philadelphia Union.

Both defenders have been good for their clubs in their young careers. But which one do you think is better?
