CenturyLink Field - 2019 MLS Cup

SEATTLE â€” With 69,274 people on hand for the 2019 MLS Cup, the Seattle Sounders have set a new franchise record for attendance. The number only trails last year's final for most all-time in MLS Cup.

CenturyLink Field was buzzing to watch the Sounders play their first home MLS Cup final, a raucous crowd for the season's finale. The club's previous attendance record in MLS play came in 2013, when 67,385 came out for a game against bitter rivals Portland Timbers. It also breaks the attendance record for soccer match for the history in Washington state.

The Sounders are no strangers to rewriting the record books, as the club set a new MLS record for average attendance in each of its first five seasons. Last year's MLS Cup, between Atlanta United and the Timbers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, featured 73,019 in attendance.
