The Revolution’s first-ever Homegrown Player, Fagundez was signed to a senior roster contract on November 15, 2010 ... a native of Uruguay and the son of a former professional goalkeeper, he has exceptional speed, technique, balance and footwork on the ball ... spent the spring and early summer of 2011 with the club’s youth program, while playing reserve-team and Open Cup matches with the first team, before moving full-time to the first team in July 2011 ... completed his freshman year at Leominster High School (Leominster, Mass.) in June 2011, and now trains with the first team on a full-time basis ... completed his sophomore year through personal tutoring and online classes at Leominster High School before transferring to Fitchburg High School in the fall of 2012 to conduct his junior-year classes through in-person classes at night school ... speaks fluent Spanish (his first language) and English.

2012: Made 20 regular-season appearances, including eight starts at forward. Scored two goals and recorded two assists. Twelve of his 20 appearances – including seven of his eight starts – came in the final 13 matches as his playing time and role on the team increased dramatically as the season progressed. Made his season debut at Kansas City (March 17). Returned to the field as a substitute at Real Salt Lake (May 5), the first of three straight substitute appearances (May 12 vs. Vancouver; May 19 vs. Houston). Made his first start of the season at forward at Toronto (June 23). Scored his first goal of the season – and his third career goal – on a 94th-minute equalizer as a substitute against Seattle (June 30). Missed the match at Philadelphia (July 29) with an ankle sprain suffered in training that week, but returned to action with a substitute appearance at forward against Kansas City (Aug. 4). Drew a penalty kick – which Lee Nguyen later converted – at Columbus (Aug 25). Recorded his first assist of the season -- a game-winning assist -- against Columbus (Sept. 5). Recorded his second assist of the season at D.C. (Sept. 15). Scored his second goal of the season - the game-winner - against Chicago (Oct. 20) in the team’s home finale. Started at forward but was issued a red card in the 34th minute in the team’s U.S. Open Cup third-round loss to the Harrisburg City Islanders (May 29). Also made nine MLS Reserve League appearances, including six starts at forward and two starts at central midfield. Recorded one assist in Reserve League action, an assist on Alec Purdie’s goal at Montreal (June 5).

2011: Made six regular-season appearances, including three starts at forward. Scored two goals and added one assist. Trained with the senior team during April School Vacation Week (April 18-22). Dressed, but did not make an appearance against Manchester United (July 13). Made his first 18-man squad in the MLS regular-season on July 20 at D.C. Became the youngest Revolution to make an appearance and score a goal for the club - and became the second youngest player in MLS history to score a goal - when he made his MLS debut against Chivas USA (Aug. 6) as a substitute, scoring in the 86th minute. Recorded his first career MLS assist at Chicago (Sept. 25) on Ryan Guy’s second goal in stoppage time. Notched a goal in his first MLS start (vs. Seattle, Oct. 1) and played the full 90 minutes to become the youngest player in club history (16 yrs. 229 days) to start and play a complete game. Missed the final game of the season at Toronto (Oct. 22) with a concussion. Made nine appearances in the MLS Reserve League, including seven starts, scoring one goal and adding a team-best four assists. Started at central midfield at Columbus (May 9), playing 90 minutes. Recorded three assists in the 3-2 win at Toronto (June 21), including a corner kick in the 86th minute that Ryan Guy converted for the game-winning goal at Toronto. Picked up one goal and one assist vs. Philadelphia (July 18), recording one goal and one assist, including the set-up on Andrew Sousa’s game-winning goal. Made two appearances in the Revs’ U.S. Open Cup qualifying matches: made his professional debut at D.C. United (April 26) and later was a substitute at Kansas City (May 25).

2009-10: Earned U.S. Soccer Development Academy National Starting XI and East Conference Starting XI honors. Made 30 appearances – including 24 starts – with the Revolution Under-16 team. Scored 21 goals and added nine assists. Scored his first goal of the season in the 46th minute against Solar SC (Dec. 5). Scored the Revs’ lone goal against South Carolina United FC in the 74th minute (Dec. 8). Scored in the 12th minute against South Central Premier (Feb. 20). Registered two goals, including the game-winner, against Met Oval – first in the 37th minute and again in the 44th (March 6). Scored the game-winning goal in the 30th minute and added two assists against Oakwood SC (March 14). Scored two goals, including the game-winner, against NJSA 04 – first in the 12th minute and again in the 76th (March 20). Registered a goal in the 47th minute and added an assist on Felix DeBona’s 60th minute goal against Baltimore Bays Chelsea (March 28). Had two goals and added an assist in the 5-2 win over Seacoast United – converting a penalty kick in the 36th minute for his 10th goal of the season before scoring again in the 68th (April 17). Scored the game-winning goal the next day in the 76th minute against Empire United (April 18). Scored in the 41st minute against Greater Boston Bolts before being ejected from the game in the 57th minute.(April 24). Missed the May 1 game against Potomac while serving a one-game suspension. Earned an assist on Cole Denormandie’s 75th minute game-tying goal against Albertson FC (May 2). Converted a game-tying penalty kick in the 51st minute against PDA (May 8). Earned an assist on Devin Devoy’s 8th minute goal before netting his 15th goal of the season in the 62nd minute against Empire United (May 15). Scored two goals against FC Greater Boston Bolts – first in the 21st minute and again in the 36th (May 19). Scored in the 21st minute and added an assist in the Revs’ third game of the USSDA Spring Showcase against Miami FC Kendall (May 31). Registered the game-tying goal in the 80th minute against FC Westchester (June 5). Scored his 20th goal of the season the next day off a free kick in the 27th minute and added an assist on Cole Denormandie’s 32nd minute goal against D.C. United (June 6). Scored once in the playoffs, in the 80th minute against Lonestar Aztex Academy (June 28).

BEFORE REVS: Won State Cup championship in 2008 and 2009 as a member of the FC Greater Boston Bolts … reached 2005 State Cup finals as a member of FC United before winning the championship in 2006 … played with the Massachusetts ODP program from 2006-2009, serving as captain from 2008-2009 … Named a 2007-2008 Adidas Interregional All-Star as a member of the Region I ODP team.

U.S. NATIONAL TEAM: Was a member of the U.S. Under-14 National Team pool from 2007-2008 … played as a member of the U.S. Under-14 National Team from 2008-2009 … was called into camp with the U.S. Boys Under-15 squad in 2010.
