They are the boldest of the bold-faced names in the MLS coaching ranks. Bruce Arena and Sigi Schmid. Both have been on the US scene for decades, in the college ranks, national program and MLS. And although there is no rivalry, per se, there has always been a sense of intrinsic competition.

Now they square off again, in Sunday's second leg of the MLS Western Conference Championship (9 pm ET, ESPN, live chat on MLSsoccer.com) at CenturyLink Field. The Galaxy hold a 3-0 aggregate edge in the series, but who holds the edge between the coaches?
