Scott French

Scott French has been covering soccer since his teens in the late 1970s, and the sport has been his primary coverage responsibility since 1991, when we was a staff writer with the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Scott has covered the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA since their inceptions and has covered three World Cups, two Women's World Cups, two Olympics, the 2000 European Championship, the 2001 World Youth Championship, 11 MLS Cup finals, the US and Mexican national teams, women's pro soccer, as well as amateur, college and youth soccer. He was a senior editor at Soccer America for five years and has served as the managing editor of MajorLeagueSoccer magazine, an assistant sports editor at the Los Angeles Daily News, and soccer beat reporter for ESPN Los Angeles. He is in his second season covering the Galaxy for MLSsoccer.com.
