Jeff Bradley is a senior writer for MLSsoccer.com. A veteran sportswriter who has worked in the New York market for the last 25 years, Jeff got his start as a reporter at Sports Illustrated then moved to the New York Daily News, where he was the Yankees beat writer from 1992-1995.
He was the first director of communications for the MetroStars, holding that role for the 1996 and '97 seasons before leaving for ESPN The Magazine, where he was one of the founding editors and a senior writer for 13 years. At ESPN, Jeff wrote a weekly online column on American soccer called "The Boot Room" and was the original "MLS Insider" on MLS Extra Time, the league's first weekly highlight show. He also covered the 1998, 2002 and 2006 World Cups for The Magazine. Most recently, Jeff was the Major League baseball columnist for the Newark Star-Ledger.
Jeff and his wife Linda live in Manasquan, N.J., and have two soccer-playing teenage sons, Tyler and Beau.
