The incumbent No. 1 goalkeeper for the Blues since 2004, Cech has been one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League since his first season in the league. His recent heroics include lifting Chelsea to the UEFA Champions League title by stopping a penalty kick during extra time against Bayern Munich and two more in the penalty shootout that followed. He recently signed a new contract with the club that will keep him with Chelsea through the 2015-16 season. |
